Pastor Austin preached from John 15:1–17 in a sermon titled “Being a Disciple.” Through Jesus’ teaching about the vine and branches, the message showed us what it means to follow Him and live connected to Him.
The sermon focused on two ways we abide in Jesus. First, we abide in Jesus when we remain in Him. As His followers, we must stay close to Jesus, depend on Him, and continue in His Word. Second, we abide in Jesus when we bear fruit. When we remain connected to Him, our lives will show it through our actions, obedience, and love for others.
This message reminds us that being a disciple means more than simply knowing Jesus. It means remaining in Him each day and allowing Him to produce fruit in our lives.
